Teacher Training

Supporting higher scores

IELTS Teacher Training – Supporting higher scores through effective preparation. This four module Training course is designed for teachers that are either actively preparing students for the IELTS test, or those getting ready to do so.

This professional development course consists of four, three hour modules that cover the parts of the exam in great detail. Taught with a focus on interactivity, the teachers become the students and with the assistance of rich and engaging materials, receive in depth instruction on how best to support their students in turn. Please see the module descriptions below. The training course order is identical to that of the test itself, allowing for further continuity and information cohesion. Please note that there are two versions of this course available, with either a General or Academic writing focus.

3.2 IELTS Writing Test General (General training only)

This training module will result in detailed information on the structure of the Writing test together with examples of the types of questions asked. The General Training Writing test contains topics based on general interest and is suitable for general life and work-related applications.
